Kurt (Ted) Saraceno
President
Over the past 40 years, Ted Saraceno has formed and led development teams to acquire, permit, construct and lease over 5,500,000 square feet of commercial office, life science, industrial, multifamily, and mixed-use properties.
Ted is a graduate of Colby College and is active in philanthropic efforts around Greater Boston. He is the founder of the Spirit of Giving, a charity that has donated over 4,000 Christmas dinners to residents of Boston and Waltham. He is also a 30+ year rider in the Pan Mass Challenge. Ted enjoys offshore fishing and skiing. He lives in Dover, MA with his wife and three kids.
Chris Roller
Vice President
Chris Roller supports acquisitions and developments for Saracen Properties. Prior to Saracen, Chris worked for LandVest’s Real Estate Consulting Group in Boston, where he was responsible for real estate and timberland advisory assignments across varying geographies for private, public, and institutional clients. As a part of his graduate studies, Chris interned with Leggat McCall Properties in their acquisitions and development teams.
Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst, and a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development from Cornell University. Chris currently lives in Boston, and enjoys golfing, skiing, and saltwater fishing.
Alie Saraceno
Director
Alie Saraceno serves as a Director, supporting all aspects of fundraising, investor relations, portfolio management, and ground up development for Saracen Properties. Prior to joining Saracen, Alie worked at Morgan Stanley in Private Wealth Management as a Client Service Associate where she completed financial goal analysis, portfolio management reviews, and cash management for clients.
A graduate from The Carroll School of Management at Boston College, Alie earned a B.S. with a dual concentration in Finance and Marketing. While at Boston College, Alie was a member of the Boston College Club Tennis Team and held numerous leadership positions on campus. She is a supporter, team captain, and ten-year rider of the Pan Mass Challenge and serves on the Board of Ambassadors for Flying Kites. Alie currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts.
Mike McDonnell, PE
Vice President, Life Science Development & Operations
Mike McDonnell has spent the last 16 years working directly and as a consultant for biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, delivering over 3 million square feet of life science and biomanufacturing facilities. Mike is typically engaged early in the process for strategic master planning, site selection, and lease negotiation and then has lead the design, construction, and facilities operational start-up for clients. He has experience with all life science project types including repositioning, ground-up, cGMP manufacturing, wet lab, hot lab, chemistry, imaging, and vivarium spaces. Prior to his consultant work, Mike was the Director of Real Estate and Facilities Master Planning at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Mike holds a Bachelor’s in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and a Master’s in Engineering Management from Northeastern University.
Kurt Saraceno
Analyst
Kurt Saraceno assists with underwriting and sourcing responsibilities as an Acquisitions Analyst at Saracen. Prior to joining Saracen, he worked as an Investment Banking Analyst for William Blair’s Private Capital Markets group, where he developed a well-rounded financial perspective and analytical skillset while serving clients in the Technology, Healthcare, and Consumer & Retail industries.
Kurt graduated from Wake Forest University’s School of Business in 2022, with a B.S. in Finance. While at Wake, he participated in various extra-curricular activities, including the men’s club tennis team. Kurt currently lives in Boston, MA.
